MediaPortal hung/terminated on HD Videos (1 Viewer)

I am runing the latest (1.2.x) MePo with SAF unlocked + Online Videos and facing a problem when playing HD Videos (on SD I have no issue) with online videos (even via trailers)- I dont think the issue is onlinevideos itself, but its probably the codecs.

As you can see below, there is an issue with ffdshow.ax and that what makes MediaPortal terminate itself (I copied this from the system error dialogue)

You're right, it's codec problem. Try to use LAV codecs (they should be installed with latest OnlineVideos).

some more info:

1. I re installed OV - problem persists
2. LAV filter is set "Codec and Rendered Screen"and being used ( I check with GraphEdit)
3. After LAV splitter I see ffdshow (with DXVA and without) being used as decoder - if I unreg ffdshow.ax then i get sound without picure (in onlinevideos or any other videos)
4. Do you manage to completely remove ffdshow?

BTW - all tests pass in the "Codec" tab in OV.

I got it fixed
had to download LAV and install the video decoder on its own and then unreg ffdshow

why did SAF install FFDSHOW and not LAV for video?

Try to disable DXVA - START-SAF-FFDshow DXVA settings, here untick h264 and vc-1 DXVA.
