Yes, most people have no problem with the patch. I was running the included .bat file but when I checked the actual filter installed (using Radlight or any other filter organisation software) it would not be using the right files, or one of them would remain registered but with no path and stop me from viewing TV at all. I recently had someone PM me with a similar problem. So just checking that the patch applied correctly rather than assuming is probably a good idea if there are still problems after the patch. My response to the PM was as follows: "The three files I had to register were: mpeg2data.ax PsiDecd.dll PsisRndr.ax I think the last one is the extra file I needed to copy across? Just check the list against the current patch. It is a strange bug and one that caused me much frustration. I think at one point I would have System Restored about 20 times in a row. Nobody else seems to have a problem with the patch as is, so that is why I never bothered posting in depth details, as I thought it was just an issue with my setup somehow. I hope this is helpful. If you need me to email you the files or whatever, just PM me what you need and an email address." I don't know if the issue was just with my setup, or an issue with what windows updates/fixes have been installed, etc. The result, however, was that the patch didn't work at all in its current form. I even tried multiple times doing the actions from the patch in the command line, etc. It was highly frustrating and I could eventually only get it working by taking an extra file from MCE.
