Network is bridged, the server can be pinged from the VM, and the server can ping the VM.

-Mediaportal in the VM doesn't show the TV guide (no information available)
-Live TV and recorded TV can't be displayed
-Videos located inside the VM also can't be played (It says something about codec error, but I installed SAF v6.0.5)
\- A screenshot from the video is showed on the left in MP
-I tried restoring the Windows XP default (baby-blue) theme, but that isn't the solution. (Re-enabled the themes service)

I don't really need the watching of recordings, I just wanted to use this to schedule some programs for recording.

    Kind regards,

    Stijn

P.S. The forum software forces me to set the Bug -> [confirm] prefix when creating a topic... Is this a bug?

  • About The Project

The vision of the MediaPortal project is to create a free open source media centre application, which supports all advanced media centre functions, and is accessible to all Windows users.

In reaching this goal we are working every day to make sure our software is one of the best.

  • Support MediaPortal!

The team works very hard to make sure the community is running the best HTPC-software. We give away MediaPortal for free but hosting and software is not for us.

Care to support our work with a few bucks? We'd really appreciate it!
