MediaPortal Version: 1.2.2
MediaPortal Skin: DefaultWide(also tested with Black Flass Nova HD)
Windows Version: Windows 7 Prof (up-to-date)

On my HTPC with the installed TV Server, everything goes quite fast (starts with no long delays). I'm now trying to use my Desktop PC as Client.
It works, but the start is very slow:
It kind of "hangs" while showing "Loading window plugins".
Looking in the logfile it looks like this:

Code:
...

2012-02-24 11:05:58.083198 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: TvNotify: start
...

Thats the 18 seconds I see the "Loading window plugins" (11:05:40.711204 till 11:05:58.082198)

It's a new install of Mediaportal (wasn't installed before on this PC) and I have deactivated all plugins except radio and TV.

Any help or hints on what could cause the problem is appreciated very much.
As said, on my slower HTPC everything goes much faster and as everything does work (using static IPs) I think that it's not a network problem either.

wow that actually did the trick! Thanks alot!
disabling ipv6 it starts very fast - as soon as I reenable ipv6 it waits those 18 seconds again...

For now it's alright as I don't use ipv6 yet, but in the future it sure will be used - so is there way to maybe configure the firewall in a certain way that ipv6 is able to run anyway?
