Hello,
All of a sudden I am having a major problem with MediaPortal... I cannot watch any video. When I click play on an episode or a Movie my MediaPortal just stops responding and the only way I can exit is to hit ctrl+alt+del. I was having this issue when I first installed MediaPortal but after I used this dll https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/my-tvseries-162/new-mediainfo-dll-might-solve-weird-delays-84199/ it fixed it. It had been working for over a week until this morning I turned on my computer and all of a sudden it was not working. I have not changed anything, it was working fine last night and now it has suddenly stopped.

If I disable MP-TVSeries videos work fine. When I turn TVSeries back on the problem returns. Is anyone able to help me as this problem is really driving me crazy :(
Thanks

I did a full clean up remove of 1.0.2 and installed 1.1 today. Everything else is working fine, but I appear to have the same problem as you with movies. It plays for a short time, then MP stops responding. I had TVSeries installed before, but it was gone after the clean-up uninstall. I can't find a reason yet.

Same problem here. Using SAF and clean install Vista (all updates downloaded) and the latest MP with latest StreamedMP. Although it is also with Movingpictures and not just TVseries.

Also getting black screen and sound continuing untill PC completely crashes.

* hey guys try and see if you still get the error when you start mediaportal in Debug mode :) for me everything works fine then for some odd reason...

** well it seems that while i saved my edit the same problem occured... i have no idea what it could be then :(

I removed ffdshow, haali, and vobsub. Got new versions of ffdshow and haali, reinstalled them, now moves play just fine on the client/server machine. Did the same on the client machine and although most movies play fine, the CPU load is way higher. MKV over about 5GB start to stutter. Only happens on the client machine set up the same way as the client/server machine, with the same video subsystem.
