As soon as you stop LiveTv, the Buffer is _gone_.
So if you start LiveTV (tune a channel) again, then there wont be any backbuffer you could timeshift in.

Am I missing some settings in configuration?
As for me, tsbuffer remains after I stop Live TV. Not the whole fileset - just .tsbuffer and the last .ts used (real size).
But in singleseat case it is reused (or deleted and created with the same name ?) with the next Live TV start.
If in multiseat - new "incremented" filenames are generated (_remaining_ after stop as well) -> filling tsbuffer folder.
So what you are trying to tell us is that there are "leftovers" of previous *.tsbuffer files inside your Timeshift folder?

I have completely removed the last SVN and beta 1.1 and then installed.

All seems well except when reading your notes...

    Added MPTray to MP project
    - refactored hooks and devices to use MP's classes instead of redundant ones
    - currently using mptray style (mytraymod code is commented)
    - NO bugfixing or else yet (error and focus handling, registry permissions, etc)

    - fixed focus handling

Fix for mantis #2615: Integrate MPTray into MediaPortal Project
    - added checkbox to configure MPTray's autostart

I have ticked the option within the config setup under the "Additional third party checks" to auto start MP tray.

I then rebooted my HTPC to find that it does not auto start. If I then use TGB as mptray is not running the processes it does not work. If I manually double click on the MP Tray.exe within the mediaportal folder it is then running as a process and TGB will launch MP.

If I then created a shortcut from that file in the Start up folder for some reason it will not start up when the HTPC is rebooted.

If I was to go back to the one posted here I know that it works meaning that mptray.exe is running in the processes each and every time Windows boots and thus will launch MP from TGB...

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/mediaportal-plugins-47/mptraymod-vista64bit-rc2-does-not-start-46266/index2.html#post547952

Just to confirm by going back to the version that I linked all is well again with mptray always starting up with Windows and thus starting up MP when TGB is pressed.

Thanks, this seems more stabile than earlier, but i still have one issue left, that also was present in earlier svn's. This is the first time i've been able to catch these logs though. It seems to work fine, channel change and everything. Got Unable to start Graph one time, but no biggie. The problem occurs when audio and video suddenly freezes. i can switch away and back, and it works again. Some channels seems to be more affected than others, dunno why. See attached logs.

    :D for this SVN :)

    2 things:

    1. wasn't there a "Start with BasicHome Screen Option?
    (Picture attached)

    2. When I go to Images from (Basic)HomeScreen then MP tries to mount an Image ($Recycle.bin) with DaemonTools, this results in an error from DaemonTools saying it can not Load Image. In Log I can see the Following:

    2010-01-08 13:58:27.384892 [Warn.][PoolThread30]: GUIPictures: Omitting outside path \\MPServer from check share \\MPServer\Images
    2010-01-08 13:58:27.498898 [Info.][PoolThread30]: Start process DTLite.exe -mount 0,"\\MPServer\Images\$RECYCLE.BIN"

    Logs attached.

Well I was telling you that exactly before you removed my post about it :)
(no hard feelings, just very curious why a reply on the matter is removed???)

    From the changelogs:

    Minor configuration cleanups
    - "Start with basic home screen" moved to skin section
    - "Autosize window mode to skin" moved to skin section
    - "Enable skin sound effects" moved to skin section
    - "Disable tray area's balloon tips" disabled (this XP setting was global and it's not our job)
    - "Enable animations / transitions" removed since MP does not work properly without it since ages

Can you check "Start -> run -> msconfig" if MpTray was added to the autostart list?
