It is just that the Streaming Server on my TV Server fails to open the ts-file and enters a repeat loop trying to open the file while MP client waits. If you follow the links on my previous posts you can see both log files and a ts-file that works that way. Do you have Hauppauge TV Card ?

Have you considered opening up mantis (or starting a new JIRA or Bugzilla) to control all these user reports? To me all these SVN threads is a giant mess and it seems a large part of the reports gets lost in the mix and forgotten. I think people generally get frustrated with report bugs with full logs, only to have them lie forgotten in an old SVN thread. There must be something better than this.

Yes I have a Hauppauge 4000 and using only dvb-s2 on that card. Do you think it depends on that?

Hi All! I have interest trouble - when i export iptv channels to xml file by MP 1.0.2 and after that try to import this xml file on MP 1.1.0 with this SVN, the channels are importing, but they have no details about - no url, no numbers, it seems that only channel names are imported. May be i do smth wrong?

    Probably!

But if you don't post logs, how can we tell?

    Best wishes,

    Hi,
I think there was a progression splash screen while loading the tv server setup. Is it gone?
It's a bit confusing when you start the application and during a few seconds, nothing appear.

    Thanks,

    JC

Is it just me, or is the playback choppy when 24hz is applied? It seems like everything in mediaportal is slowed down when 24hz is applied, including the menus. Other material plays fine. And no problem when I set 24hz material to 50hz.

MP GUI is slow as it is rendered based on the FPS, not based on the time difference. This wont be ever fixed for MP1.

    I also have this problem...
And it is not as You describe it Tourettes.

It is simple that that when 24Hz is applied (on 23.976 material for example) that is when the refresh is changed from 50 or 60 Hz down to 24 Hz that playback (especially) and GUI get all choppy - as if playing 12 fps and not 24 fps.

I would post logs but there isn't any out of the ordinary in them. :(

For me it sometimes helps to close MP down and start it a few times or to start to play 50fps or 60fps material, stop it and then play 24fps right away.

I'll try to narrow it down (the exact cases when playback gets all choppy).

And just to mention it I tried CoreAVC, Cyberlink PDVD9 H.264, MPC and MS (Windows 7 64bit) codecs and have the same effect with all of them.

I'm getting 'unknown error' returned with my DVB-S HVR4000 card. I can stop and start TV server and it resolves the issue immediately. It will then run fine for an indeterminate amount of time, then start producing the error. Logs attached.

I'm also getting a few problems with the client, but I'll have to get logs for those later, this post is for the above issue. I get crashing ('Mediaportal has stopped working'), watchdog then produces a .NET error. I'm also getting strange problems with occasional long delays on channel changes, a shame, because this SVN is lightening quick now when the planets are all aligned.

Logs are attached for DVB-S issue. It happened at about 17:40.

Anyone have any ideas about this one?

Hi, sorry that I keep copying myself, it's just this is causing major grief at home. Within a 24 hours, my DVB-S will be unable to tune, only rectifying with a TVserver restart.

Trying to find something in common for the developers. I have Hauppauge NOVA-HD-S2 and NOVA-T-500 that have never failed but have gotten ts-files unreadable by the streaming server from Hauppauge PVR-150 and PVR-500 cards.
I can make my TS Server accessable to a developer if that helps with this problem.
