Then isn't it to be someway fixed - as now this confirmation pops up only in fullscreen but not in minidisplay nor in MyTV halfscreen ?
And when (if) rework happens - why not to meet the other half of users? ;)

Although I share the same option you should open a seperate thread as feature request (I definitely will subscribe to). The devs expressed multiple times they want this thread to keep clean for SVN related bugs.
:D

    Hi all,

Not sure if its specific to this SVN, but fastforward (possibly rewind) seems very "hit and miss" when watching a AVI via My TV

Fast forward and rew are depending a lot on the source and decoder filters. That usually explains the different behavior with different media files. Also MP is not known to behave good... it's not considered as critical issue and as it is really hard to fix and skip steps are much better way to seek quickly in the media file.

When installing this SVN (or older ones) I get the following error:
A reboot is required after a previous action

Both "Setup-MediaPortal-svn-1.0.4.24669.exe" and "Setup-TvEngine-svn-1.0.4.24669.exe" produce this error after starting them. And offcourse I rebooted my machine (10 times already I think) but it still produce the error.
Can some one help with this problem or where can I find logs for these installers so I can provide them here?

    Thanks!

    Try this:
    1.Navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\PendingFileRenameOperations
    2.Back up the registry key
    3.Delete the registry key
4.Install the software without restarting the computer first (Restarting the computer may result in the registry key being placed back in the registry before installation.)
5.Restore the registry key from the backup location.

    Maybe something anormal.

Today I scheduled two tv recordings of 2:30 hours.

When I returned to home both recordings shows as recorded with the correct time. But if i try to play one of them both have a duration of 1:15 hours (aproximately).

I checked the files and really the recording stopped after 1 hour (the file size is the corresponding for this time).

I attach logs. There are a time forward entry in tvserver logs when I supose the recording have stopped.

Don't report bugs refering to old threads. If you still have this issue, is mandatory to make a proper bug report with updated and clean logs.

    Simone

This is not an old thread, people have been reporting problems with analog tv scanning for months in this thread including several reports of problems with logs in the last few weeks. The general consensus is the thread seems to be that analog has been broken since 1.0.2

I made what I think is a proper bug report today with logs from this svn build: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/bugreports-74/analog-program-scan-crashes-tv-server-76200/. Please someone take a look at this. Analog TV (which has been a feature for years) is unusable because of this problem.

I got exactly the same problem here too. Logs are simelar, but I will post them if it could provide help.

    Hello!

Yesterday I thought that I had messed up my installation but now I have fond that it was not so.
I have a huge collection of thumbs mostly related to movingpictures. At startup of Mediaportal there is some traversing of the thumbs directory, not by MovingPictures but by Mediaportal to creae some cached images and fonts. This causes the dump below. If I remove the MovingPicture thumbs dir Mediaportal starts fine. It does not matter if I disable the MovingPicture plugin. The error window that shows at startup says something about out of memory. That could explain why it works on one of my computers and not on the other. It fails on the one that has the tvserver installed too, ie probably less memory for the client.

    /Erik

    Re: MediaPortal SVN-Snapshot:-01-08-2010 02-15h - Revision:24669.rar

When installing this SVN (or older ones) I get the following error:
A reboot is required after a previous action

Both "Setup-MediaPortal-svn-1.0.4.24669.exe" and "Setup-TvEngine-svn-1.0.4.24669.exe" produce this error after starting them. And offcourse I rebooted my machine (10 times already I think) but it still produce the error.
Can some one help with this problem or where can I find logs for these installers so I can provide them here?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I would recommend completely uninstalling MediaPortal and TVEngine (full uninstall). Then go to 'Program Files' and delete the entire 'Team MediaPortal' folder, and do the same in 'Program Data' (obviously back up any files you will need!). Then reinstall and see what happens.

This is the first report I have seen of such a problem, and people are installing SVN updates all the time, so I suspect that something is screwed on your system. It might not be, but it's the first thing to check!

    Best wishes,

    Mark

    Thanks Mark for your reply.

A completely full uninstall of MP and TVE was the first thing I did when I encountered this error and after searching this forum for the same error (no result). I did that a few times even, but never did clean the data of the two Team Mediaportal folders though.

In the end (and before your post) I decided to do a totally reinstall of win7 x64 as the install base was already a couple of months 'old' and did alot of testing with codecs and MP.
And now it works perfectly! Even the little problem with stuttering is gone I had before. :D

    Grtz

Any idea why MCE remote number keys won't work in 24727

This might not belong here, but i'll ask anyway. :)

I usually build my own svn builds and this is one of those cases.

In svn 24712 MCE remote number keys work okay, but not in latest.

If no-one cares, i'll wait next official svn build and report proper bug then.
This is just to let you know;)

I have not got time to check it out myself, some of the dev's might
know the the answer(place in code that might be responsible) right a way.

So the the question is in title.
    Regards,

Does it not work for changing channels? typing numbers when virtual keyboard is on? SMS keyboard? or?

I have a clue what might have caused this but please be more specific. My guess is it works for changing channels but not elsewhere.

    Hi.

    Okay.

number keys are not working for changing channels and for typing teletext page, well
those are things i've tested. No it's not related to virtual keyboard. It seems to work for typing
    pin-code for protected movie folder.

So i just use number keys to change channels, or typing teletext page.

    Thanks, and regards,
