mpg 1 and 2 are not enabled by default..make sure they are switched on if u use mpg2 video/audio for your digital tv standard in ur country
also..make sure .mpg and .ts are asscociated to windows Media Player(that had me stumped for hours)

I think this is in respond to my ffdshow issue?

Anyway, what do you mean enabled by default? You mean in ffdshow? I made sure they are.
Why do I need to associaet mpg and ts to media player? Wasn't needed in 0.2.3-non-svn, but I will have a looksie and give it a go, if it fixes the issue with the ffdshow directshow filter not being found when mediaportal is building the graph no-one will be happier than me
