Have reinstaled Mediaportal and SVN without additional plugins. Started sucessfully, but met another problem: mediaportal open folders very slowly specially network folders. For example my ION open folder located on USB drive (about 372 files) as long as about 15 sec. Time to open folder located on MyBookWorld is more then 2-3 minutes. As I know this problem is very historical and was solved in the past, but I can't solve this on my PC.

Hi.

Here is logs about crash. Mp is in normal use: zapping, using teletex,
some channels might have had normal dvb subtitles.

I hope logs have catched some clues, as these few things that dev's wanted us to
look at in first page of this therad are quite new, i mean Mp has been more stable
about a month ago. Now this crash happens totally without any certain behavior i do.
Sometimes it crashes just after i've rebooted and started to watch first channel after reboot.
Sometimes it happens only after using teletex and few hours later. No pattern how to make it happen.

I'm sorry not been able to help more. My system specs are just below my avatar.

That's killing my Mp

I looked a code a bit and i don't understand how that image variable could be null as it is created few lines above hmm...

Maybe if this RenderPage is called twice in a row before previous call has not ended.

I think it's because LockMemoryImageTexture fails. And one of the reason it fails could be due to AllocResources is done in the rendering loop, so allocation has not been doen yet. Or maybe you are running out of gfx memory, so allocation is never done.

I saw there was another fix in svn today, but i'm sorry to say that it won't work wery well.
Mp won't crash anymore, but it works only once. When i use teletex one time and exit, then in second time
teletext shows, but it shows last page before exit and it won't accept any button presses or
it does not render any pages anymore.

PS i'll revert teletext part into beginning of january to see if it works.

Can I provide more info on this to get it in the bug tracker? Here is a 1 minute test file which displays wrongly:

It is streatched way beyond the edge of the screen so that the text falls off. This is only when playing back in MediaPortal. Plays back fine in WMP, MPC HC, VLC etc. Like I said it looks like MediaInfo is reading the wrong flag and passing this info on to MediaPortal. That all I can think of. Its very annoying whatever it is. Im using the latest SVN and latest SAF. Tried various decoders, ffdshow, powerdvd, mpc and all have same result in MediaPortal. Heres a grab of what it displays like...

and here it is in WMP...

Hi There

I have an issue with my remote... (x10 marmitek)

When ever I want to skip ahead in a video or live recording (which I ie. had paused) the top bar gets activated.

Just to be clear here, by skipping ahead I mean the ie. 10% of the entire duration, and not the 15,30sek.

On my remote I use the "arrow up" button to do this.

Logs included and a little video showing it, in case I didn't explain myself enough

In the video I go to MyVideos and start the movie. After video is started I try to skip ahead, and every time the top bar gets activated. To skip ahead once more I have to press the "arrow down" before I can skip ahead once more again and so on and so on

Don't mind that the video is in .exe format. It was the only free screen-recording software I could find in a hurry

This video plays absolutely fine in MediaPortal here. I cannot reproduce this problem. I have cycled through all available zoom modes and see no incorrect behaviour.

Multi seat win7 clients will consistently crash if I timeshift live tv for about 10 mins, skip back 5 mins then start skipping forward in 30 sec increments. Can never do more than 3 or 4 jumps before it crashes. Same situation for recorded TV.

Otherwise stable and UI response getting better all the time.

XAA : try disabling tcpip autotuning on the win7 box. Speeds up access for me to smb shares on devices which don't have a modern MS tcpip stack.

Well this is really odd. I've tried all zoom/aspect modes and none help the problem. Any MKVs with the 'Original Display Aspect Ratio' flag play like this in MediaPortal, any without are fine. Its not actually an option in MKV muxing, It seems to be in the stream straight from the DVD...

Any how, whats your setup for playback elliot? Im using latest MediaPortal SVN, latest SAF (beta 23 test 5), PowerDVD 9 codecs.

BTWhe windowed screenshot displays how the video looks in fullscreen aswell. I havn't just resized the window poorly or something!
