One thing is NOT fixed: Using DVB-S Radio i have to start playback of the radio station twice.

this won't help the dev. if he fixed it and for you it is still not working, what do you think does the dev needs then?

chefkoch

Same problme here with DVB-C radio. Did not exactly know at which SVN it stopped working.
I suspect you need the logs which I will post later :))

Can't ignore overlapping recordings since RC1

Hi,

Since Mediaportal RC1 I don't get the ignore option for overlapping recordings. This is espacially annoying if they overlap only by some minutes. Or if I want to resolve the issue afterwards by setting the default time after recording to zero. I tried switching the mode of Conflicts manager from fast to others but it always was switched back to fast after reopening tvservice configuration program. Afterwards I disabled the plugin. The same result I always get the overlapping message but can't choose to ignore the overlapp.

by the way: How is this plugin (conflicts manager) involved in this? I don't see an effect when disabeling it.

Thx for your great work!

Well, after installing the tv-server and saying explicitly to NOT delete my database I ended up with an empty database AND an empty backupped database. So .......... not too happy at this moment.

The database deletion was definitly done SILENT only on switch from 0.2.3 to 1.0rc1.
The other way to delete the database is while uninstalling TVServer you are asked to delete it, but this is not done silently.

Did you definitly modify the scheme textbox in the Setup Database Connection windows back to "TVLibrary"?

    regards

Yes Yes, I did read the homepage, and yes I configured tv-server to use the "old" database. But still nothing. Something went wrong in the backup process with my pc, cause I managed to read the database but it is very corrupt.

Still no problem just have to rescan the channels. Thanks for the reply's

The problem with the DVB-radio (have to start it twice before the audio starts) is there for me still I started using Mediaportal (March 2008). If you select another channel the old channel will be played for another 20 seconds before the new selected starts.

I've been having the same problem - back-to-back recordings, no option in settings to 'ignore pre/post settings', get message to 'skip/keep' conflicting recording, but when select to keep conflicting recording nothing happens, have to exit out of message window and schedule a manual, extra long single recording to get both shows.

I also don't see what the 'conflict manager' plugin does.

    Hi,
ronsonol, when using TV Server you have to enable "PowerScheduler client plugin" in MediaPortal Configuration -> Plugins -> Process Plugins & if you use singleseat only use the default values like Only Allow standby etc & leave the rest as it is. If it is on a Multiseat Client you can configure it to how to standby etc. For both option "old" Powerscheduler plugin must be disabled, cause this it's only used when old TV Engine it's used.

    Regards
    Roy
