Check if something has changed with your Codec settings in MP!
I see in DVBViewer, some codecs give me very bad quality, some shows horizontal lines and ffdshow works fine,
Gabest too, but not in MP, as long as the Noise Reduction is set on.

Deactivate the Gaussian Quad Filtering in MP Config- Video Renderer settings, that makes the Picture too smooth...

I dunno if it is the right place to ask but I encounter tv server got crashed after a serious "Continuity error" in this snapshot version.

Here is the snap from TsWriter.Log:

At the time 21-06-2008 12:26:36, the System event log indicated that "The TVService service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s)." While the Application event log has an entry "Faulting application tvservice.exe, version 0.9.2.19376, stamp 4852e714, faulting module msvcr80.dll, version 8.0.50727.762, stamp 45712238, debug? 0, fault address 0x0001507a." at time near by.

However, there is nothing logged in the tv.log and error.log file at that time.

At the time the tv server crashed I was watching a HD Channel using H.264 encoding, before the tv server crashed the video/audio are not smooth until it is freezed.

Any thought about this? Or any further information needed?

Black screen

Hi,
I have a big problem. I have installed this svn, everything works fine but when i restart my HTPC I get black screen and no sound when I watch TV. I have unistall my FireDTV software and install it agian with the latest firmware. Everything works fine untill I restart my computer. Is this releted to a windows update or anything else?
I have run the Dvbfix.

I have windows xp sp2
Fire dtv dvb-c with cam.
MediaPortal with latest svn.

I hve run the Dvbfix.

Hope someone can help me, I am verry sad now.

Don't know when, but I suppose it should be released soon. Take a look at the mantis . 95% of the known issues are resolved. And there are issues which are assign to RC3.
