Perhaps we can find some similarities in our setup?

    Me:
    MS SQL
    Single seat
    STB (s-video)
Channels added manually in TVE3 setup -> TV channels - then mapped

Sorry fot the delay. Busy day...

    MS SQL
Multi seat (although network PC was not on - so basically single seat)
    Antenna channels
Channels added by xmltv and I then changed it to the correct tuner number.

In TVServer, I can select and preview ANY channel.
In MP, no channel available, no epg available.
If I manually start timeshifting on server, client can successfully view that channel, otherwise, nothing.

tv still freezing while zapping under xp in fullscreen...

This version like yesterday's version 15994, appears to fatally crash my system almost every time I use it. This happens after I've used MediaPortal to watch TV or a recording, and then either stop and use the gui or try to exit MediaPortal. The screen then freezes and the pc no longer responds and have to press the pc's reset button. If I just use MediaPortal without watching TV or a recording and just use it's gui, such as to look at the epg and schedule recordings then MediaPortal does not crash at all. Am using WinXP with the TV Service and have enabled dvb subtitles. The TV Service appears to function as normal on it's own without crashing. My system is usually very stable and rarely crashes - none of the other software I use is doing this.

I have noticed that even though the 'exclusive VMR9' is checked, that I get some tearing in the video with these versions. Previous versions which have had 'exclusive VMR9' checked have never had problems with tearing. There is no other program running that is using VMR9.

The logs don't appear to be showing anything 'unusual' as the crash is instant and freezes the system. I will revert back to a previous version which I know worked without crashing to see if there isn't something wrong with my system.

    My setup:

    Single Seat TV Server
    DVB Subtitles
    VMR9 Exclusive Mode
    Cyberlink MPEG & Audio Decoders
    Win XP
    DVB-T USB Unit - Avermedia A800
Using MCE USB Receiver Via Girder & Keyboard Shortcuts (& Universal Remote)
    Nvidia FX5200
    DVI Out To LCD

I have noticed this also (using TV server)! It seems to be worse on clients than server itself. I'm running Nvidia decoder, but same results with other decoders.

Please try to disabled the DVB subtitles. If it's not crashing anymore please report to the DVB subtitle thread. Also make sure that ALL following are on the same SVN version: MP, TVE3 server & TVE3 client.

Tearing here also since few latest builds. Tried 93.67 and 162.18 forceware drivers with various settings (vsync, trip.buff, exclusive mode etc) tearing is just always there on the top of the screen.
