After some time Live tv just stops, change channel starts it again.

Hi Chemilli,

what means clean logs? At least i've posted logs two times (in last SVN Thread) - without doing anything else than watching tv before - more clean is not possible cause it happens randomly.

But a mantis entry would be good even if you can't reproduce it - so others know that it is a known bug.

I've also experienced it, both in Vista and Win7, tho on previous SVN. I'm not home in a while, so i can't post any logs unfortunately. I guess you mean that the logs don't have info about the errors that the users report when you say clean logs?

Well I've done a fresh install of XP SP3 + subsequent updates on my MP Server machine and the problem was still occurring, so I uninstalled MP and reinstalled rev23491 on both machines and it was still happening!!

I thought it might be something to do with the Cyberlink MPEG-2 decoder that I use as I recently updated that, but changing to MPC-HC didn't make any difference. It turns out that it only happens when MPEG/AC3 audio decoder is set to ffdshow. Changing it to MPC-MPA fixes it. I've got SAF 3.47 installed, so perhaps that's relevant.

I'm going to reinstall the latest SVN and hopefully everything will be OK now.

EDIT: things seem fine with the latest SVN now, using MPC-MPA. I checked and ffdshow audio on Server is rev2936 and on Client is rev3078, so there could be something up with the latter, it could be because SAF is installed on the Client or it could be something that only shows up when streaming.

Hi

I made another test today, with a freeview channel
it dident fail, it still showed picture after 8 hours


The I tryed a scambled channel again.
And after 2 hour and 50 min. Timeshift file is stopped.


If you look at the 2 log files I have here, then you will notice that there goes almost same time before timeshift file stops.....
about 2 hour and 50 min.

at least for me this happens also for fta channels and sometimes never and sometimes after 10 min, 20min,60min, 1hour, 2hour, ....

Still problems with DVB-S2 channels

With this SVN, I still have problems tuning DVB-S2 channels as reported here:

Unfortunately no feedback about this issue from any dev, even though others confirmed this bug as well.
Also, no mantis entry for this issue as well. With 1.1.0 Beta 1 (without any SVN), there was no problem at all!

This doesn't really motivate me to report bugs...

Otherwise this SVN is working great for me and you guys are doing a great job!
