campod, MCE remote works good as always here, if you have vista then you'll have to copy back the old mediaportaldirs.xml..

Spragleknas, try to use a older dshowhelper.dll & reply back if that helps or not.

2 things:
*) what is the filter the "DVR Out" pin is connected to when using the old core.dll (when you look at it with graphedit). maybe mr. hipp can answer this one?
*) sprangleknas: what is the merit of this filter on your system? maybe it is not autoloaded because of the minimum merit settings the new graph-builder requires. if so, it should maybe be lowered.

on another note, those redundant checks with the same filters should be avoided. i will have a look at this.

@Mr. Hipp: here is an update to the graph-builder patch, which avoids the redundant filter-testing, and makes logfiles more readable.

Spragleknas: are you able to play back dvr-ms recordings with the current svn, or is this broken too?

one more thing: could you try the core.dll i just uploaded here, it seems that your issues are very much alike. both of you fail to preload the default directsound device.

Strange. I am sure I removed it (can't find it in uninstall either).

Any idea as to how I can make sure it is gone-gone?

Hi,
Actually the log tells you how to uninstall it:

Reclock is installed - if this method fails, reinstall and regsvr32 /u reclock and then uninstall

I got [RegSvr32] "LoadLibrary("reclock")failed - The spesific module could not be found."

maybe it's just a relict in your registry. did you try the core.dll from my above post? and have you tried unregistering reclock with radlight filter manager?
