Hi.
I've tested this SVN now a bit on my Server - Client environment and I can confirm some issues other has posted here.
After playback a rercorded TV Show MP crashes everytime I press the "Stop" button.

I also have the same problem when pressing the Stop button while watching a recorded TV-Show in MyTV, MP crashes. I have the same on 3 different Pc's. If I have Log verbosity set to error, no error.log is created.

Hi, also here I can't use stop or pause when viewing a recorded tv-show. When doing so Windows gives a "... has stopped responding". Logs are attached. I guess this is a real showstopper for me.

For the rest, this build works for me.

Hmm. Hetfield is experiencing exactly what I am experiencing..

Are you using SVN 24553 mr viggo? It was still fixed in the previous SVN (24281).

mr viggo is probably not using DXVA.

All is fine with this SVN except the restart of MP after Resume!

I don't know why, but after resume of standby MP hangs completly, after killing it by taskmanager it hangs after manually restart in the section initializing input devices...

I have the same problem.

I'm using DXVA and I can't think of anything particular with my codec settings or filters installed. Did a completely fresh XP install yesterday and are using ac3filter (163b), haali (191209) and mpcvideodec (1453) for mkvs.

Great Work. (Nearly) everything works great so far. What a pleasent christmas surprise.

The only issue I still have, is that the timeshift buffer occasionally starts to play from its beginning while zapping through live tv. This doesn't happen always, but once it occured for the first time, it happens for every subsequent channel switch - which is quite annoying.

I reported this a few releases ago, so I'm not sure whether this is being worked on or maybe simply not reproducible. Just in case, here is the link to my old post, including log files:

I pause Live TV for a few minutes.
Then start Live TV (delayed) and come to commercial. I press skip forward button to take 3 minutes step forward but I jump to Live point, that is to the end of the timeshifting buffer.
This never happens when playing a recorded show and it does not matter how far forward I jump.
This does not happen all the time and I have not found any reason why this happens.

Have multiseat setup, TV Server on Windows XP and MediaPortal Client on Windows Vista with MediaCenter Remote Control.

Already in Mantis 0002577: Skip steps no longer work reliably in multiseat TV - MediaPortal Bugtracker (since 4/12/2009) So it will be fixed.
But it might get fixed faster if you provide logs in this thread:

This has been a recurring issue for me since 1.1beta and also present in this SVN - TVService crashes when I stand by my HTPC (standalone installation with MP + TV Server on same PC) - this results in MP crashing when trying to open live TV... restarting MP doesn't work, I have to restart my PC (or restart the TVService)...

logs attached from MediaPortal and the errorlog from the TV Server
I'm using IPTV, don't know if that makes any difference...

Is there maybe any settings to secure that TV Server closes down properly before going into Standby/hibernation, guess this could solve my issue?
