Hello,
I want to report that Mediaportal takes more than 30 seconds to startup.. Not a disaster, but I want to know if there is way to reduce this bootup time..
I have take a look into the logfiles, and one thing I notice is this:
2011-12-15 19:18:43.087641 [Info.][CacheChannels(14)]: ChannelNavigator::LoadSettings()
2011-12-15 19:18:57.506466 [Info.][MPMain(1)]: Load plugins from : C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\windows\OnlineVideos.MediaPortal1.dll
So [CacheChannels(14)]: ChannelNavigator::LoadSettings() takes 14 seconds.. I have take a look into other logfiles of other people, and in all those logs this rule take not more than one second.. But I have know idea what it is..
I hope anyone can help me a bit to reduce the startup time of Mediaportal.. That would be very useful for testing purposes. it's a bit annoying to always have to wait that long.
BTW: I'm using for therecord 1.6.1 BETA 1 (but also while using the latest stable version, 1.6.0.1, the startup time was the samed)
I have cleanedup the logfiles, startup Mediaportal, and exit.. Here are the results:
Best regards,
Marcel
