Mediaportal + TVtuner + 7.1 (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to setup mediaportal to allow me to have 7.1 output when watching TV.

TV card is a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Dual TV Tuner
I have the latest MP/Tv server
Windows XP Pro SP2
AC3Filter
ffdshow

Now that I think of it is there a way to output the sound in DTS of some sort?

sound output is over fiber sound card can do 7.1 and just to verify I was getting the 7.1 I ran a DVD
every channel had sound.

I use FFDShow audio and just set 7.1 in the mixer setting with expand stereo option enable and this works fine, over spdif not sure, you may have to play with some settings.

Well now I have another odd problem I have no voice when I play DVDs I have all background sounds and they sound great.
