Mediaportal unusable after resume. MP configuration needs to be run to stop MP after which MP can be restarted.
upgraded from 1.12 to 1.13 but problem persisted. Ran watchdog without plugins file attached. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hhm, we are aware of some issues with MP remaining in a kind of freezed status, which Sebastiii was able to resolve. In case that you are interested: http://tinyurl.com/qcefsfn links to a 1.13 version that contains code that addresses freezes and restores focus. Might be worth a try.

For me it's the only way of being able to use MP on one of my machines.

Another thing that you could try is to launch MP in a controlled manner from Watchdog: select the option "Report a bug to team MediPortal". This will deactivate the non-core plugins in case that incompatibilities are causing the issue.

I looked at the log and the system appears to resume normally. Nothing to be seen in mediaportal.log, however, the application event log is showing the following:

At 7:34 - relating to BrowseTheWeb
Faulting application name: MediaPortal.exe, version: 1.12.100.0, time stamp: 0x5638561f Faulting module name: mozjs.dll, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x545be2dc Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x001add22 Faulting process id: 0x12bc Faulting application start time: 0x01d13345431b2dd2 Faulting application path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\MediaPortal.exe Faulting module path: C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\Windows\xulrunner\mozjs.dll Report Id: 658e534f-9f3a-11e5-9a95-e03f49b0187d
MediaPortal then crashes. You better uninstall BrowseTheWeb
