MediaPortal + Vista SP2 = .... (1 Viewer)

Vista SP2 is currently in RTM (Release To Manufacturing) stage. It't not publicly available for download.

If you don't have a MSDN subscription you won't be able to download it.

So why say anything at all ?? Had a look at some blogs and seems like SP2 for Vista could be months away for general public...

Sorry you are right, since it's not publicly available my opinion on how well it works is worthless.

My company released Vista SP2 for predeployment testing, so I installed it on my MediaPortal HTPC......and I must say that my HTPC and MediaPortal is performing far better than it did with Vista SP1. With SP1 I sometimes had frame problems during video-panning shots....but with SP2 the problem is now gone. Well done Microsoft....you have released a very good Service-Pack

p.s MediaPortal even starts faster...

I've been using Sp2 since last year, BETA2 i think it is.. Has anyone used the current RTM and the beta version.. I just wanna know if it's worth doing the whole Uninstall of the beta and install of the RTM version... I've been really happy with SP2 for a long time... Craps on SP1..

Any really differences?
