I'm running Mediaportal 1 RC2 on Windows XP SP3 machine. Everything is workin just fine. But I have tried upgrade to RC3, with problems. The problem i expering is that i can't start mediaportal after the upgrade. I get some problem telling me that the graphic card isn't directx 9 compatible. The exact error message is:
"Switching to the reference resterizer, a software device that implements the entire Direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly."
after i press OK a new error displays:
"Warning: Nothing will be rendered. The reference rendering device was selected, but your computer only has a reduced-functionality reference device installed. Please check if your graphics card and driver meet the minimum system requirements. A software device that implements the entire Direct3D feature set, but runs very slowly."
What has canged between RC2 and RC3 that makes Mediaportal not running with my hardware anymore?
