Thanks for this. I'm using "Integrated" along with DVD43 and Daemon Tools auto mount settings for DVD rips and plays which is so perfect for backing up my kid's DVDs onto my custom DVR system so she can stop tearing them up. I refused to use any PVR system that didn't have this feature and your plugin was my last hope before moving to MythBuntu.

i have a proplem when rip a dvd. all software is new installed. the message say - "see my image please". I have the newest ver. of mediaportal 1.0.2 and wxp+ sp3. NET 2.0 and 3.5 with sp's.

Hi, I'd like to know if such things are possible with MediaSlayer :
-multiple profiles (I want to copy the iso for some DVD's and compress for some others)
-multiple audio tracks (I want to have the original audio track plus a french audio track depending if I want to watch the movie alone or with my girlfriend)
-advance subtitles management (for french movies, I want no subtitles, for english-speaking movies, I want english and french subtitles (if existing) for other language movies, I want only french subtitles)

Some config problem? Please re-check your settings.

1st one supported - enable advanced gui from setup and then you can select ripping method. Remember to configure those first. You can also change your destination if needed from the gui.

Others not possible currently. Idea of this plugin is to keep it simple for user and for me

Manfred,

If possible, I'd like the ability to select a different disc database. I've been having problems with freeDB not having entries for some brand new discs that I own. I do realize I could wait a while til freeDB is updated, but others (cddb and whatever windows uses) has the info when I attempt to rip a disc.

Hmm, I cant get MediaSlayer to grab cover art for my music when ripping a CD.
Any clue why its not grabbing it? It finds all other music info...

first of all thank you for this very nice plugin! I am using it together with DVDfab and Mediaportal 1.1.0 beta .
I only got a little problem with it. After the rip is completed I am getting an error message "ripping failed! startindex cannot be less than zero..." although the ISO-Image is done succesfully. This is both on a system using Windows Vista and Windows XP.
Is this due to the fact that I am using 1.1.0 beta?

Which version of DVDfab do you use for testing?

Problem ripping discs

Ok, I have found an issue with using the internal ripper and doing a full disc rip. I get a strange error because on some discs it wants to append some extra directory info to the path. You can see this in the attached logs. I have chased this down to DVD's I have that contain autorun.inf on them and more specifically, the Interactual player. I am running Vista Home Premium 32 bit for the OS. I have done the reg edit to disable autorun.inf, and verified that it works (or does not work). If I put a disc in with autorun.inf on it, it does NOT autorun. Also, I have AutoPlay disabled on ALL drives as well. So I know it is not my configuration (at least I am pretty sure). Running Black Glass skin version 1.6. No SVN's installed.
