Meedio user checking things out (2 Viewers)

Hi guys,

Well I tried MP about a year ago and stayed with Meedio. I have to say that things have progressed quite far in a year. My computer is on the very edge of what can run MP (1.3 Ghz P4), so I'm sure some of my problems are related to that. MP currently doesn't do what I want, since I'm a directv customer, but I'm pretty impressed with everything. Especially the TV. The picture is crystal clear and (most importantly) doesn't stutter. I've had this stuttering problem in all of the programs I've tried.

I'm sure if I had time to play with MP I could probably get it up and running. Perhaps when my schedule lightens up a bit I'll get around to looking at it again. BTW, can anyone point me to where the documents for C++ plugins are located? Thanks and good luck.

Like a lot of things MP tries to be cutting edge,
Yes it does tend to be geared for mid\highend pc's but look what you need to run MCE.
The comparison dramatically changes because of the much larger hardware support.
Sorry to anyone out there that thinks the are hard done by, this is not the intention.
But by abiding by the limitations of XP and directx, this is as good as it gets, and improving DAILY.

Thanks to anyone with any specification system for trying MP, as this always gives the Dev's a idea of the limitations of this software, and possibly how to improve.

diehard2: as long as you have a directx 9 graphics card, you will probably have little problems with your cpu specs and mp. (since mp relies heavily on directx - in opposite to meedio afaik?)

i have seen you found the directtv thread yourself. hopefully works for you after recompile.
