Menus are faster while playing Video (2 Viewers)

The Basic home screen with the MePo Wide SVN skin works fine. When i select My videos. The My Videos menu items are slow changing from one to the next. If i play a Video an return to the My Video menu while playing the video ( don't stop it) the menus are fast. Did someone else remarked this behavior?

I tested

Basic Home screen: 20 fps
My Videos and other menus: 4 fps
My Video and other menus while playing video: the parameter "last" was at 0 fps but the menus were as fast as the basic home screen so i appreciate 20 fps

Maybe your integrated gfx is a little too weak for the job. Try setting its dedicated RAM in bios to the maximum value.

Increase your FPS in the settings plugin.

Hi I have exactly the same problem. About 16-20 fps both when watching a video and not. The menu are very slow when moving about (up to 10 sec delay or a keypress), but when I have a video running in the background, it is fully up to speed again... I am running the SVN from a few days ago, but the v 0.2.2 did the same.

It is running on a IBM T40 with a 1.5GHz Pentium M.

By the way, new to mediaportal, and I love it (except the menus...)

Yesterday i increased the fps to max. 60 fps. At the basic home screen i have now 60 fps. It changed nothing to the fps of the video or other sub menus.

any further ideas?
