Getting burned out on the ATSC/CC problem. This is a nice to have, but the sun rose this morning, suspect the sun will rise tomorrow. Still bothers me that simple "one click" install 1.7.0 did not work. Same "one click" worked for 1.3.0, 1.5.0. Fired up my 2009 vista-64 laptop that I retired since it was seeing major thermal throttle and reboot problems running MePo. Still has MePo 1.3.0 installed, LAV 0.55.2, CoreCC20130727 (108 KB file) that is in ATSC/CC wiki and this thread. ATSC/CC work, "graph" looks exactly like working examples in this thread. Win8 system is replacement, ATSC/CC worked fine with MePo 1.3.0, 1.5.0, LAV/CoreCC20130727. Not sure what to try next. Is this an "install" problem, runtime? Why does TVmpeg2 = CoreCC "trick" work? With Win8.1 and CoreCC disabled, why can't I use MsftDTV-DVD codec with MePo? Causes MePo errors see zip in msg #19 With TVmpeg2 = CoreCC "trick", Win7 uses MsftDTV-DVD, Win8.1 uses LAV? Different codec priorities? Is there any way to see runtime view of how MePo is trying to connect the various pieces/ports when it tries to build graph? I assume there are ports between the different "boxes" that it checks to see if they "match", expects to see certain settings, priorities etc. Any way to set breakpoints, look at values MePo runtime is seeing? My guess is I'd need to download/setup/build MePo from source to do gory detail debug.
