I don't know why don't work f9r you, but for sure, not related to mp. Maybe try to download official mediainfo dll from project.

You can try proper mediainfo software if same issue, or download dll 32bit (try 64bit too)

32 bit = takes 55 secunds
64 bit = play right away, but then mepo crash i think, its not using it at all..

Ill stick with the older version i got from, this formu some posts ago.. works perfect..

Mepo/MediaInfo = Slow (Solution here)

Sorry took a long time before i had more time to do some more investigations here..
(Tested inside/via mepo and in the MediaInfo gui directly, seem to have no driffrence at all..)

In the mean time i got new bigger stronger computer, different graphics card and ram and cpu, everything has changed.
also new router, and much faster network.
New windows 10 and MEPO installation.
All the same. slow on some files..
Local only a bit slower maybe 5-10 seconds
Network, difference is 10-15 seconds on the good files and over 30 seconds on bad files, i have a feeling that when many different subtitles are offers it part of the ones taking long time, but not sure, would need much more testing for this, don't have time..

Its possible a lower version works, but i had spend enough time testing at that point.

So i just took this: The solution is to take the version offered on website:
For win95/2000 , its Version v0.7.60

This one does it local or network, instantly, no delay what so ever

Opening this again, as i need the new mediainfo so i can get DRR to work (Dynamic Refresh Rate) that does not work with the older DLL i was using


Did more testing, also tested MediaInfo on same files local and network.
1-3 minutes network
5-10 seconds local

Files that have many subtitle languages seem to be the real bad ones, just take for ever

A test file local, takes 5 seconds, if places on a network drive, takes 3 minutes!!

MEPO log on this part
attached, look at line 508-509, takes 3 minutes to read the file.

My network is FAST!
Same thing, done with older or the different Mediainfo file, takes only 1-2 seconds.
(v0.7.60)

Anyone any input or how to solve this?
