I'm currently DVBLink for IPTV to stream an m8u playlist with hls right into Windows Media Center on Windows 8 x64.

But since I'm curious about switching to MP, I'd like to know if I can help you with testing this new merged filter. Can you give me some help on how do best do this?

    sure!
First of all you should install MP 1.5 Pre (go to the downlaod section and scroll down a bit)
Than follow the Steps in the first post here for IPTV.
After you set everything up just copy you playlist to C:\Program Files\Team Mediaportal\Mediaportan Tv Server\Tuningdetails\IPTV
Open SetupTv, select you playlist and scan for channels :)

This tutorial is for the octopus net, but maybe it can give you some help and there are also some screenshots :)

Can MP install the tv server backend alongside DVBLink for IPTV and Windows Media Center or should I first uninstall them?

EDIT: Where do I put my manually edited m8u playlist? The instructions in the link above only mention how to the DD tool handles the export.

I already wrote it in my post above:

    But it must be m3u.

And could you please open another thread if you have any further questions, because this is not related to this topic :)

    Hi,

Need help from you (@mm1352000) :p if you can :) and maybe @Owlsroost too :p
Sometimes i can't tune IPTV channel (seems to be serviceid mismatch happening)

Georgius can explain a bit more too :)

It seems data arrived but can't stream because of serviceid mismatch :

For TMC channel it always the case right now : (below log)

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10536084/mp/IPTV/MPIPTVSource_TMC_Graphstudio_log.rar

    For ClubbingTV:
Sometimes it start directly and we can see serviceid mismatch happening right after but seems the video/audio is running correctly.
And sometimes it don't stream like TMC channel.

A Graphstudio dump is always playable under VLC.

Do we need this check for IPTV Channel ?

    Hope log are usefull :)
    Thanks :)
