Hey Guys,
I have some odd problem: For a couple of days now my sound have been interrupted as soon as I hit a button on my remote, for example to bring on osd. It takes a few second until the sound is back. Any hit on a button will delay another few seconds. My AVR gets confused and searches for right audio format till the sound is back.
I don't know for sure but I think this is since the install of 1.1.0 Final.
I did some testing and came down to the message plugin. When it is turned off, I can trigger any event while playing media files and the sound will keep playing.
So, I know the development of the message plugin stopped decades ago but I really like to use it because it makes using eventghost possible. Maybe one of the original developers of the plugin is still around and knows what could cause the harm.
Thanks
Luca
Edit: I did some more digging. I am not sure, if this is really to blame on message plugin. Maybe it is some problem with windows sound config or the mp is talking to the soundcard: When I disable sounds in message plugin config for the keys I use the most the problem goes away for those keys.
It looks like the sounds of the keys and the sound of the media are fighting about the format or what ever. Too complicated for me. I would really appreciate some help.
Edit 2: I forgot to mention that the problem is there for both audio devices: ATI hdmi and Realtek onboard spdif out. No one out there who has a clue?
