    Make sure you have the "Just scan" option on in Samsung image settings. If you dont have it call Samsung and ask for a newer firmware.

    That is only on more recent Samsung TVs. The firmware for my slightly older LE40R74BD does not exist with that option. I know because I called the service centre myself, thanks for the thought though.
