For my multiseat test I installed Media Portal as client on a Dell XPS M1330 Laptop with Windows Vista 32 Home Premium. The server runs on Windows XP SP2 and uses a KNC ONE DVB-S2. On the client I noticed, that the Mini EPG (channel list) shows totally wrong information. The information in the TV Guide is correct though. See attachments for comparison.

Err, didn't really know which one to provide :D. Anyway, here are the logs of the server and the client.

It seems, that the Mini EPG is simply one hour behind (hard to say for sure).

Interesting. The client has GMT+1 Amsterdam, Berlin, etc. The server has GMT+1 too, but with Belgrad, Bratislava. This shouldn't make a difference, or does it? Both have automatic daylight saving time switch.. thingy... activated.

//Setting the server to (GMT+01:00) Amsterdam, Berlin, Bern, Rom, Stockholm, Wien didn't make a difference.

I guess this problem is related to the daylight saving time. I know of one or two other applications, that don't recognize the DST setting of windows either (mIRC for example is also one hour behind, when DST applies). Maybe there is a similar issue with Media Portal under certain circumstances?

Oh god, what's wrong with me today! The server's clock was simply 40 minutes behind. I feel stupid ;)
