Hi,

I haven't seen this issue mentioned elsewhere but I have a problem with the following process:

1) Have TV server running.
2) Open MP (in fullscreen mode)
3) Select MyTV then select Guide and start a channel (which goes to fullscreen).
4) Hit the back button to go back to the guide. Hit back again to go to MyTV. At this point live TV is still playing in the small preview window.
5) Press the EXIT button for MP where my MP is configured to minimise to tray on exit.
6) MP now LOCKS. If I press STOP on my remote, it closes/minimises straight away (i.e. unlocks).

Now as far as end user usability goes, I believe this is "unexpected behaviour". Minimising MP should automatically stop playing the live TV and minimise in one hit. Of course if no-one else experiences this behaviour then I have other problems!

Regards,
S

I am using VMR9 probably in exclusive mode as well for reference.

Try without exclusive mode, as that always gave me grief with xp, if getting tearing make sure you have the amd dual core optimizer installed, i know vista does not need it, but not so sure about xp, it did make a difference a couple of months ago for me..

Ok thanks I'll try that. I know I have already applied the dual core optimizer patch due to a problem with an older game.

Not sure how much difference it makes but I was getting some noticable tearing without exclusive mode. I think I'll just have to live with it for the time being.
