Remarks:
My ability as a skinner is not the best. So the code can be messy at times.
The skin is a build on DefaultWide.
This skin cannot be run using MP1.1.x or MP1.2 Alpha.

Notes:
The solution is made for 1280 x 720 but is tested up to 1680 x 1050 and scales ok.
There is no menu generator but editing basichomemenu.xml can be done by anyone who can use a notpad (I hope)

I'm sorry for the lack of attention i have given this thread but I've been busy with hovers and backdrops. :sorry:

Then mediaportal 1.1.1.0 came a long. After a clean install i had major delays (10 sec) in my basichome, home, plugins.
After a full uninstall and then a reinstall everything worked

^ My thought exactly; very interesting concept. Looking forward to giving it a spin. It does look a a bit to colourful, but might not be so in real life.

I've toned down the colors with some shade do not know if it works. I've looked so many times on it that I am getting colorblind.

the delays on basic home with MP v 1.1.1 is a bug with win xp and this version , do you use windows xp ?
i have dalays in many skin i try with v 1.1.1 ......now i go back to MP1.1.0 and all o.k ...

I use Win 7 on my test machine so it was perhaps a mistake in my setup of the TV client? everything work fine now.

On my HTPC in the living room everything worked out of the box (vista).

if you don't see this No thumb cover image when you stream radio or play MP3 files without cover.
please put this common.overlay.basichome.xml in your Mira skin folder. I have updated the download files.
