i am getting a microsoft si/psi parses outdated message i am trying to use the tv converter for the first time but i cant find out how to update it in the wiki please help i would like to start using it

Hi

I think you need the BDA/DVB fix. Take a look at the requirements page under "required updates". Note: the fix is only required for Windows XP these days.

I got the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix it ?

Also I do not get TV running only the sound can be heared-the screen stays black. In the preview picture TV is shown correct.

We answered a very similar question about the psisdecd.dll only a few hours ago. Please install all the prerequisites for XP as explained in -->this post<--.

The reason your screen is black is because the MPEG 2 and/or h.264 video codecs that you have selected in MediaPortal configuration ("codecs and renderer" section -> "TV codecs" tab) are not compatible with the streams that you are trying to watch. I'd recommend that you install SAF, otherwise post logs using the watchdog (info in our wiki -->here<--) so we can see what codecs you have installed and give you some specific advice.

I did the dvbfix-the mircrosoft si/psi parser outdated message is gone. Situation stays as is.

I checked the codecs they do not tell me much they are all preset. What do you mean with SAF ?

I also get an error messge: cannot play live2-0.ts.tsbuffer. The system crashes now and then.
