Hi Everyone

I figured out how to map the correct channels to the webEPG thanks to a nice document on the MP-Site :)

However I have noticed that there are lots of channels that are not available, for example Five US and Five Life also many of the + channels are not available like ITV 3+1 for example.

Is there another source for data for these channels?

Also for some strange reason even though I have ITV 1 mapped it doesn't download any channel data. Does anyone have any idea?

Thanks

yogiman!

What version of MP are you using? the missing ones got added a while ago in SVN at least.

    Edit:

Are you listing the sites in the WebEPG conf by channels or website? As I've notcied there's no channelid for five us, ITV2/3 etc, but it is listed under website.

    Hi

    I am using 0.2.0.4

I can not use 0.2.1.0 or the current SVN's as they don't appear to work correctly with my HVR-1300, channel tuning problems :(

    Thanks

I did have an hvr1300, it wasn't the card I found out, it was the frequencies in dvbt.xml that was causing problems with latest releases. (I'm assuming your problems with DVB-T not analog)

Was using my HVR1300 fine until a couple of weeks ago after adjusting the dvbt.xml file to correct frequencies for my transmitter, with 0.2.1 and SVN. See my thread [thread=13550]here[/thread]

Was stumped prior to working this out and was too stuck on 0.2.0.4.

Below is my current webepg, by website

Actually no not DVB-T can not get that here yet and not analogue either.

I have my SKY Digibox fed into CVBS#1 and an MCE remote / blaster that selects and changes the channels, I use WEBEPG and map the channels to the correct channel number and presto! working with all but the few I mentioned that I can not find.

Thanks my friend, when I figure out exactly what your saying :( I will look into it. I really apprecaite the reply :)

    Thanks

Possibly hauppauge driver update, I am using the TVengine 3, which until recently caused me problems, but since the EPG side was fixed for DVB-T, now getting smooth picture and EPG over air data, what a result, just might be a option, only if it does not cheese of the Wife or Girlfriend.

    Regards

Just read new posts, hmm see your problem from a different viewpoint. sorry cannot help with sky boxes.

    Hi Paranoid

Sorry I don't think I am making myself very clear.

I don't use the DVB-T or analogue tuners for anything I only use the CVBS#1 input to take a signal from my SKY Digibox then I have programmed each channel manually into MP so that it changes the channels on the SKYBOX when I changed them in the MP TV Guide. Thus it pretty cool.

Sorry am I missing something or am I just thick? (ok don't answer that) :)

Whoops jumped ahead of myself then.

Don't post after the pub I think.

If all you want is the channel update for the missing ones, then I guess you might just to be able to update the WebEPG channel / website listing.

I've found the [thread=12769]thread[/thread] when the missing channels got added, only about a month ago.

You could try backing up (in case it goes horribly wrong;) ) your
    C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\WebEPG\Grabbers\GB\1-xmltv_radiotimes_com.xml

and try replacing with my updated one (had to zip it as I can attach an .xml file), then re-run WebEPG.conf and see if they are available as per my post above.

Ok did as you asked and replaced the xml, and went back into the channel config and there was no difference in the channel listings?

    Did I do something incorrectly?

    Thanks
