Hi there.

Please could someone explain why only 95% of my fanart appears to be working. I can't see any difference between the structure, naming etc of fanart that is working and ones that are not. Please see attached example for james blunt. I just can't get this one to work but there doesn't appear to be anything wrong. PLEASE help!

Many Thanks

You are having fun, will try this on mu system but so I can test with the same config can you attach a copy of FanartHandler.xml file (found in c:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal), confirm the OS and the MP & FanartHandler versions please.

Thanks

I wish I could Trevor. I decided to uninstall evertything & start from scratch. I'd finally finished with tv series & moving pictures plug ins and then it was on to fan art handler. I've pointed MP config to my music folder and it's all there. Final stage now importing fanart. Now though, when I run a scraper the green bar goes across and peforms a full scrape only nothing appears in the box above? After spending all day on it I've somehow managed to be further behind than I was yesterday!!! I don't think me & streamedmp were meant to be friends!!!

This is unlilkey to be a skin issues alone as I have not heard of such problems form other, there are a couple of things you should consider. MP RC2 has some issue with animation and conditional visibilty (resolved in the upcoming RC3 release), there may also be some issues with FanartHandler.

What I would need to see is your FanartHandler config xml and log files and MP error.log, there are a number of things that could be happening here.

Will help where I can but need the logs to really see what is going on.

Cheers

Hi Trevor

Sorry for the delay, I've just changed my internet provider so I've been without web access fir a few days. I'm unable to recreate the log files as I cannot replicate the same error. I can't get fanart handler to imort any images this time round. No worries though......... I'll stick with itunes for the time being. I'm more than happy with what I have working at present.

I do have one last issue though, then I promise to be out of your hair. I'm unable to watch any trailers. I keep receiving the attached error. This seems like an excellent feature and I would be made up if I could get it to work. I have looked for audio codecs via MP but there doesn't apprear to be any there? I'm at a complete loss yet again.

Many thanks for your continued support.

Cheers:D

What codecs do you have installed that end, just checked here and have both Quicktime (via iTunes) and ffdshow installed but not sure whcih one is active :)

You could try this QuickTime Alternative download which is what I used to use or look at SAF (Stand Alone Filters) which is a better bet, this puts all the codes you need in place and wrapped up in a nice installer.

Cheers
