Missing HD channels (1 Viewer)

I am not picking up the HD Channels or the Radio channels when I scan (although Windows Media Center has found them ok) and they aren't appearing in my EPG. Any ideas anyone?

Did you set "Enable DVB-S2 channels tuning/scanning" in TV Server Config?

No I didn't, but I am not using satellite, I am using a DVB-T2 terrestrial signal. Will setting that option solve my problem?

DVB-T2 is not available here, so I can't say anything about, sorry...
I have never seen a TV Server config with DVB-T2 at all. I don't know if there is a similar option. But if it is, this should be a possibility.

Well, many thanks for your help anyway. Windows Media Center recognises the HD channels and works perfectly with my DVB-T2 card, so I would think there has to be a way.

Have the tuning details in your area changed? Have you gone through DSO yes? Try scanning the generic uk all regions option or you can replace the contents on the tuning parameters files with the relevant content from http://sources.team-mediaportal.com...VLibrary_TVServer.Base_TuningParameters_dvbt_

(I am using the same card as you and have no issues picking up the dvb-t2 transponder)

Check the above site to make sure that dvb-t2 is actually broadcast by your transmitter.

Thankyou, this is an incredibly helpful answer. I haven't solved the problem yet but as a newbie, I have learned a lot from this. I think the MediaPortal tuning parameters are the problem, (if it was anything else, Media Center wouldn't work either) but I can't access the xml file for Emley Moor because the link causes my pc to freeze owing to insufficient resources. If anyone can retrieve it on my behalf I will be supremely in their debt!

Yes it is Ray, I can receive DVB-T2 through Media Center. I think it is the Mediaportal configuration

The HD channels are being broadcast but the site says the signal is low. I wouldn't have thought this is a problem because Media Center manages OK.

After doing the generic scan, the HD channels are now in my EPG but don't work properly (no sound). The EPG is also gobbledegook for these channels. So I'm a bit stuck and still rely on Media Center instead of MediaPortal for HD channels.
