i get the error
"missing or invalid file:"
whenever i try to load tv series ...
i've done a search and tried everything
- am using blue two wide ... tried downloading tvseries xml ... no go
- tried monochrome ... no go
- tried copying xmls from language/tvseries to language/ no go

i figure that i must be missing something but being a newbie i have no clue.

Have you downloaded the mediainfo.dll, link in installation instructions.

my problem was i needed to restart MP ....

I actually have a similar issue... I have the extra dll btw... the problem came when installing the plugin while using RC2. A fresh install of RC3 and the plugin gave the same problem: missing or invalid file

When you see this message in the MP GUI it means that a screen you are navigating too does not have a valid skin file.................as you have found out. Skin files released with the core, like B3, will not come with any skin files for plugins, they need to be maintained seperatly and IMO should be distributed with the plugin. Perhaps when there is the next stable release of TVseries it could include a simple setup app and all reqauired files, including skin files and mediainfo.
