    Hi guys,

I'd like to say that I found this but it was actually the wife that noticed :)

In the radio section the menu doesn't contain a button to view radio recordings. I assume this is deliberate as the entire "myradiorecording.xml" file is missing.

I've knocked up a down and dirty fix which seems to work OK for me but I'm just wondering if this functionality will be added to the official version in the future? If not, is there another way of accessing recorded radio programs that I've totally missed.

    Cheers,

    Mick

    AW: Missing recorded radio?

    Hi mick,

    I just updated the Wiki.

Radio recordings are accessed by klicking on the left arrow when you are in the Radio section.
Then tere opens a sub menu where you have the recordings section.
Pictures in Wiki are with default wide skin and sorrily with the german expressions.

    Kind regards

    Roger

    Hi Roger,

That's just it, the recordings button in the hidden menu isn't there. It is in the menu in the default skin but not in the latest StreamedMP?

I've checked the myradio.xml file and the button isn't defined.

    Cheers,

    Mick

    Hi Mick,

Ah. I didn't see that your problem was only related in conjunction with StreamedMP skin.
Perhaps you should post your problem in the StreamedMP forum.
Usually the skin-developer will quickly respond with a fix to such findings and is thankful for found errors.

    Kind regards

    Roger

    Hi Mick,

    stupid me.
I arrived at your post from a different "direction" and didn't regard the forum it was posted in.
    Sorry

    Hi Mick,

I've fudged around with a few xml files and managed to get something going for radio recordings. It's rough and not perfect with bugs that I don't know how to fix. Hopefully something will be sorted by someone who actually knows what they're doing (I don't!) but this is a doofer....now.

Just copy the two attached xml files to C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\skin\StreamedMP. Use the StreamedMP editor to add radio recordings as a sub-menu of music on the home page as per the screen shot. Just add the xml file "myradiorecorded.xml" wherever you prefer it.

Don't ask me to fix the issues with it though!

    Good luck!

    Cheers
    Si

    Hi Si,

I'll post my files when I get back to my PC. We can compare notes :).

I've got one minor bug that I haven't figured out yet but limiting views to list only helps.

    Cheers,

    Mick.

I have just tried your xml files. They work straight away without problem. Suddenly I have found my long lost radio recordings!

If this could be further integrated into SMP then it would be perfect!

    Thanks
