Missing Screens in existing Skins (Version 0.9.0.0) (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

I just want to ask you a bit for help to improve the usability of MPD++ Skins.

Until sa_ddam resolves the latest Problems we had and making a new Framework of MPD++, I had the Idea to add some more skinfiles for unsupported Plugins.

Are there any suggestions?

I'm going to implement all possible candidates to all existing Skins (Default, Titan, Avalon & StreamedMP).
Please "forgive" me, for not starting on new Skins. This is, why the complete Skincode will change again...

Hi Richy,

a few things I like to see supported: (in order of priority)

1. MyEmulators2 (wouldbe really awesome)
2. EPG
3. My extensions
4. UpdateControl
5. Browsetheweb

And just a question: I like to check if I can help a bit more with the skin files for Titan of MPD++. If I want to create a skinfile, do I need to call it just the same name as the xml file of the MP skin itself? Does MPD++ check for a skinfile by searching the filename of the MP skin in the MPD++ skin directory?

Hi Marcel,

I’ll take a look into the plugins 1, 3, 4, 5.
EPG is not possible at this time (may be in next MPD++ Version), because it’s not Skin related why there is no data to show..

You can chose the name however you want. Just use in front of the name “MediaPortalWindow_” e.g. for MyEmulators2: “MediaPortalWindow_myEmulators.xml”.
MPD++ does not check what files are in the MP Skinfolder.
The help on Titan Skin is highly appreciated, if you want to. So I can concentrate my work on StreamedMP, Avalon and Default Skin. Best way should be, to work within the Dropbox- folder (the Link is sent you via PM). Is that ok for you?

thanks! What I meant about the name of the xml: to be shure that the right MPD++ skinfile is loaded, the name of it should be called; "MediaPortalWindow_(name of the current MP skinfile)" Right?

I will see what I can do!

Ahh. Now I know what you meant. Doesn't matter how you name it. Important is, what you write in the general section of the xml- file...

All of these Plugins will be supported within the next Version of MPD++.
Sorry that I didn’t published them for the actual Release, but I was very busy in the last months with house moving, rewrite all Skins to the new Framework, etc.

If there are any other suggestions, please let me know.
