[solved] Mixed artist pictures (1 Viewer)

In my music library all Track have embedded Cover, all album folders have Folder.jpg with correct album Cover, all Artist folder have Folder.jpg with Artist image, folder structure:

• MP3 - Artist - Album - Tracks ...
• Loseless - Artist - Album - Tracks ...

If Album have more then one disk, in tracks metadata Disk# / Disc All information present to ...
For music library organize i use TagScanner TagScanner - The Ultimate Tag Editor

And do not forget, not only the FH creates the thumbs, but also the Media Portal itself.

In Shared view? Or in Database view, But most likely the MP is looking for a picture in the thumbnails folder, if it does not find it, it is looking for the Folder.jpg in the folder with tracks.

But maybe its depend from Settings - Music Database Config:

Select the source you wish to use to auto generate thumbnail images of artists and album covers for display in MediaPortal.

• cover art embedded ID3- Tags - Default: on
  most music taggers, and programs like iTunes or Media Monkey, add the cover art inside the mp3 in the ID3-tag, Enable this option if you have mp3's with covers inside the ID3 tags
• folder.jpg (recommended) - Default: on
  An easy way to use cover art is to put the cover art in the same folder as the music file(s) and name it folder.jpg. MediaPortal will use this folder for cover art. Disable this if you have added cover art to your ID3 Tags, or if you let MediaPortal scan your iPod.
  • *.png *.jpg (prefers 'front' cover) - Default: on - if you enable folder.jpg you can choose which image format you prefer as the main image or front cover.
• Create genre preview thumbs - Default: off
  The thumbs for the genres will be taken from the first file.

Another question: Do you know why all thumb files are stored with the Hidden file attribute?
This applies to:
..\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music\Albums
..\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music\Artists
..\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Music\Folders

These folders don't have the Hidden attribute, but all their files.
This makes them difficult to be seen in Windows File Explorer preview because they are shown brighter e. g.:
