Mixed multiseat MP environment (1.2 & 1.3) possible (1 Viewer)

Hello all,

is it possible to have an mixed MP environment consisting of a TV server V1.3.0 and clients with V1.2.3?

I have a multiseat server/client environment and I'd like to update the server first and then the clients bit by bit. In a virtual environment the (V1.2.3) clients are able to connect to a new (virtual V1.3.0) server - it is not possible the other way round --> V1.3 client and V1.2.3 server.

Hi Razorblade,

FYI I've a mixed multiseat environment working fine, TVServer is 1.3.0 on Windows Server 2012 while clients are 1.2.3 on both Win7 and Win8.

I'll will update my clients once a time, since i would have all of them on the same stack (win8+mp1.3.0).

thanks for your answer.
That's all I needed to know. So I can safely update my TV server and keep the clients running 1.2.3 until I update them.
