Same Problem, Does Anyone Have a Fix? I have the same problem. When I use post processing directvobsub (auto loading version) I get an error message saying: "Unable to play" with the reason "video codec: v_mpeg4/iso/avc" When I remove the post processing plugin it works, but then I can't see any subtitles. digitalboy66: I didn't understand if you have fix that allows using directvobsub. If so, what is it please? :thx: Found a solution. I opened a video using MediaPlayerClassic, which does work for me with directvobsub. I right clicked the directvobsub icon in the system tray (a green arrow), and compared the renderers/filters listed there to the ones configured in MediaPortal. As a result I made two changes in MediaPortal Configuration's Videos-->Video Player: 1. I changed the MPEG/AC3 audio decoder to "AC3 Filter" 2. I changed the Audio Renderer from "Default DirectSound Device" to "Digital Output Device (SPDIF) (" One of these (or both) fixed it, and now I can use directvobsub in Video Post Processing without any problems (I guess the problem was that the dolby ac3 audio was somehow misrendered).
