Last night I was watching a lot of TV series on my hard drive. My PC crashed, screen went blank and this morning when I use the moving pictures application my movies which are in MKV format will not play. I keep gettin an error message within MP saying it requires MPEG 2 codec, AVC codec.
All the LAV codec is setup correctly, I have not changed anything. I tested this on my client machine and am getting the same issues. Its pointing towards an issue with my movie files. I have just spent the past few hours re-installing windows onto the TV Server to see if this has helped...I still have the same problem. AVI etc seems to be playing ok, all TV seems to be playing ok.
Any help would be appreciated.
