Is this your case as well ?The real issue in my case was that the font used for Monochrome never was installed correctly and thus it used a replacement font that showed this behavior. In case you are running Vista like me, you need to right-click on the font and choose Install. Just copying it to your fonts directory is not enough.In case the above does not apply...
