    Hi,

Deleting the TVDatabase isn't gonna fix this. The problem is with the MPSA.ax filter not being correctly registered. The solution might sound a bit of a hack, but hey, it's windows...
    • Open up a DOS box and goto the directory where you installed MediaPortal
      (i.e. "C:\Program Files\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\")
    • Then run "regsvr32.exe /s /u MPSA.ax" multiple times (10 times for example) to unregister the filter
    • After that, run "regsvr32.exe /s MPSA.ax" multiple times to reregister the filter again
    That should fix this issue.

    Kind regards,
    Michel

    Hi

Unfortunatly the same issue has occured

Ill attach the log's again, seems as if the machine cant talk to the stick, as the light is constantly on orange, but the stick was working when i last used it with freecom software a few weeks ago (have since re-installed windows) and only the BDA drivers

Have You got all the good old MS updates, and there is a lot.

Took me all day last week downloading the flipping things, but because of some hardware changes, i could not use my Ghost disc.

    regards

Yup, Did them all yesterday before installing media portal. I am tempted to do another re-install of windows in a way, but I am back at uni tommorrow and need a working copy of windows of course :)

Im getting fustrated now, just doesnt seem to make sense.

I have been looking at the logs and cant seem to make sense of them, can someone see the fault, is it a driver or a hardware fault, I cant be sure

Try the WinFast/LeadTek PVR software - it will work with any BDA drivers, so is useful for eliminating those "is this a driver issue or a MediaPortal issue" type questions...
    HTH,

Well i have reverted back to the freecom software, which works excellently tbh, I think ill stick to this for now,

The stick did sort of work in media portal, but as soon as it went full screen it crashed everything, Ill come back sometime later and see whether any updates work any better.

    Thanks all for your help
