The fact that it still schedules the conflicted recording means that there is a possibility for someone to create a 3rd party plugin to adjust the tuner allocation. However as mm said, the team mp developers' focus is on TVE3.5 which is a replacement for TV-Server.

Thank you both for looking into this.

I shall just be a bit more careful to space all my recordings out for the time and see what the TVE3.5 holds for the future.
