[User Help Wanted] 'More Settings' option often missing (1 Viewer)

I've noticed that this option isn't available in the UI settings of my HTPC:


@ncoH any clues why i often don't see this setting (or what XML that is)? I always restore my SkinSettings.xml and that does the trick, so never payed much attention.

I have the same problem. I don't have the menu point. How can I fix this? What do you mean with the point "restore SkinSettings.xml"?

The settings visible on the above screenshot are saved in the SkinSettings.xml file, which you can find in:
C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Skin\Titan

So after configuring, i save a copy of this file, and when needed (after updates, etc.) i copy this file back to restore my settings.

Okay, I checked the settings in "SkinSettings.xml", but I can't found any entry which points to the missing menu point.
What do I need to do? Is this setting even available in the latest stable (1.6) version?

It should be the section name 'stringsettings' on the bottom, which defines some MovingPictures & TVSeries options.
