    Dear community,

I´d like to gather some feedback which Skin (beside blue two / blue two wide) you have experienced as the most stable ones.

I have been testing all hot skins available here on MP RC2 and it appears to me that the one or the other is not resulting as stable as desired and leads to frozen screens / watchdog events or long response times calling the videos or music folders.

Is anybody here who would like to share his experiences and tell me which skin is used for a "bullet proof client system" or is there another possibility to increase server response times for the above mentioned categories causing delays.

Maybe a poll in the hot skins area with name of skin & status like stable, more or less stable, needs improvements would be nice idea, wouldn´t it ?

    Kind regards

Well, in general I will say that Psycho Reptile's skin are very complete, not too fancy (I'll explain in a second) and very stable in my experience. [ https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/monochrome-249/ ] and [ https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/revision-replicant-250/ ]

If you want to go for more fancy (which will have a heavier impact on your experience, especially on older hardware) you could try Xface (I think the community has updated it on a regular basis, the release version is somewhat older).

If you want a really fancy skin, I think Aeon is simply amazing. But still under heavy development. So probably not what you're looking for at the moment.

Haven't tested out any other skins recently, so if I omitted someone's favorite skin or personal work, no offence meant ;)

I find Indigo or Monochrome to be fast and stable. I'm personally running Black & White 1080, but as its much more fancy and higher res its a bit slower, but its so pretty! ;-)
