Hi all,

I ended up buying the nmedia 2000b with the optional LED and am very pleased with it

I am looking at this motherboard to cater for all my needs with on board sound and video

Can someone help me out with the motherboard...

A few things I would like to know are...

Is this mobo good for a htpc... I like the optical out cos Im planning on going optical out straight to my 7.1 surround sound and the hdmi to the tv.

Also the big question... does the motherboard have all the connections to connect everything at the front of the case?

No HDMI in on your amplifier? You can use HD audio on HDMI, but not on optical. Something worth considering.

I will be going optical out from the mobo to the optical in on the amplifier.... hdmi out from the mobo to the tv
