Times out mounting ISO images using the latest Daemon Tools 4413 Lite. My ISO's are stored on an unRaid server and this setup has worked using MP 1.12 but since upgrading to MP 1.2 ISO's frequently fail to mount. Have also tried the 1.2 beta core.dll but no luck. I get the "timeout exceeded do you want to wait another 60 seconds" message. Look like some kind of timeout issue as ISO's can be mounted outside of MP fine.

What do you mean by does not work anymore? At least the pro standard version is working fine here, as was the lite version until recently. There is however one problem with current MP and daemon tools: Only DT type drives are supported, not SCSI or IDE. I already posted a patch to solve that in a future MP version.

Are all iso's failing to mount or just some?
Does it happen all the time or only sometimes?

I've been doing some more testing today and produced some more log files:

1. The logfiles with timestamp 1330 were run using the default skin and with extensions enabled. In this instance ISO's would very rarely mount and play using Moving Pictures, for the most part they would fail and time out. Only once did I see the image briefly mount (by seeing the copyright notice) and then disappear. I have some different ISO images in my Videos folder and when playing then via MP they appeared to mount and play.

2. The logfiles at 1346 were done this time with all extensions disabled and I had pointed the video folders to the location of my ISO files and repeated the test using the same ISO images I used in 1 above including some others. In this instance all the ISO's mounted any played.

I've repeated the test by putting back the original 1.2 Final core.dll and after a reboot was still seeing the same results.

It looks like this issue may be more related to the way the Moving Pictures plugin interacts with Daemon Tools/Virtual Clone CD than MP. I'll run some more tests and post back any further anomalies here.

Hopefully the log files should shed some light as to what is going on.

BTW thanks for what is otherwise a great update to our favourite Media Centre Software :D

I will move this to the moving pictures section for now since mp without the plugin seems to function fine. If required it can always be moved back to MP section again.

I also have similar issues with latest Daemon Tools Lite & Moving Pictures after a complete reinstall of my HTPC.

I press play on a movie - screen flickers shortly and jumps back to movie view or stays black untill I press stop.

The problem is not on all movies - but I have ~10 out of 50 that fails to play

Movie seems to mount correctly - Have tried both MS & PowerDVD codes.

Have tried installing oldest version of Windows 7 compatible Daemon Tools Lite - Same error

Have attached logs for both NON-working & working ISO
